If Helmetta would use the money from the puppy sales they have towards Spay/Neuter ALL their cats and dogs I would not have a problem with them selling puppies. This also goes hand and hand with them NOT killing OUR animals for space in order to take on these puppies. If Helmetta would give ALL the animals the needed vaccines and medical care upon intake to their shelter I would not have a problem with them. If Helmetta would advocate for all their animals I would not have a problem with them. If Helmetta would enforce a TNR program within the 21 towns I would not have a problem with them. If Helmetta would feed the animals 2-3x a day I would not have a problem with them. If Helmetta would keep the kennels and cages clean All the time instead of just upon inspections I would not have a problem with them. By doing the the above Helmetta would get the public support and volunteer help needed. They would get more animals adopted because there would be alot of repeat adopters. They would be able to raise more money to help with funding for the TNR and Spay/Neuter Problem. BUT, without Helmetta complying with the above, Animals are dying on a daily basis from illness and neglect. Animals are sitting in filthy cages hungry. Animals are not getting adopted because people cannot afford to take on all medical costs including spay and neuter. Cats are being trapped and euthanized without being put up for adoption. I ask the average tax payer-which would you prefer to see your hard earned money put to use?
