*If I Had Not Heard from God, My Family and I Wouldve Been Swept Away When the Dam Broke at Dell Lake in Wisconsin! (2008) On June 8, 2008 my family and I were in Wisconsin at Dell Lake ministering in special meetings for an Indian tribe called the Ho-Chunk Nation. We were there by their invitation. They had provided the facility, and all the advertisements. We had been having some wonderful services. It was the second night of these meetings. At the end of the service out of the blue I heard the voice of God say: pack up your camper and leave tonight! It had been a long day and my flesh sure did not want to leave, but I know the voice of God. I told the sponsors of the meetings that I was sorry but I would have to go back to Pennsylvania, tonight. I could tell they were extremely disappointed. They tried to convince me to stay because God was moving in such a wonderful way, but I know the voice of God. My family members were also disappointed. They asked me why we were leaving? They reminded me that I have never canceled or shortened my commitments. I told them I understood this. But we had to leave tonight. I did not know why. I heard the Lord tell me we must leave tonight, so tonight we will leave. We arrived back at the Dell Lake camp grounds. It was beginning to rain extremely hard. My family asked if we could simply wait until the next morning because it was late, dark and raining heavily. I said no, we must go now! I backed my truck up to the fifth wheel trailer. I saw the spirit of God come upon my 2nd son Daniel, who does not like to get wet or even really work, begin to work frantically. I mean he really began to move like in the supernatural hurry. My boys and I connected up the 5th wheel camper, we picked up all of our equipment and drew in the extended sides of the trailer. Everybody was wet and tired as we loaded into the crew cab Toyota truck. Then, we were on our way. I noticed as I drove past the Dell Lake dam that water was rushing by like a little river on both sides of the road. Some parts of the road were already flooded. We drove through the night. There were times we had to crawl because the rain was coming down so hard, fog and strong winds. All the way through Wisconsin, Illinois and Indiana, Ohio the rain came. The wind was extremely strong. We saw 18 wheelers turned over. Lots of car accidents. Trees and debris were blowing everywhere. And yet God was protecting us. The next day when we had finally arrived back in Pennsylvania, we discovered some shocking news. There had been hundreds of twisters and tornadoes right behind us which caused a huge amount of devastation. But that wasn’t the only news. The dam at Dell Lake, Wisconsin had completely and totally collapsed. Dell Lake is the largest man-made lake in Wisconsin, and this had never happened before in all of its history. The whole lake rushed out over the town. We would have been washed away in the storm. There is video footage of this disaster on the Internet.
