If I could write a letter and mail it to myself in the past, here is what I would say: 1) Mom and dad are almost always going to be right. And yes, they DO understand. They do Get it. 2) Your income is going to be secondary to your happiness. 3) You may fight with your brothers and sisters, but one day youll discovery they are your best friends, and youll cant imagine life without them. 4) No matter how bad things get, they will never, and I mean NEVER, be as bad as you imagine theyll be. You are going to worry way too much about things, and theyll always work out in the end. 5) Stop looking at the worst in people and start looking at the good. Bad people do bad things, but they dont represent all of humanity. Being miserable is YOUR choice. So knock it off. :) 6) Buy Microsoft stock.
