If I may say something on the issue that is currently being discussed and debated which is the Zimmerman trial/verdict. For someone to actually perceive in their mind that race was not a driving factor in the Zimmerman trial, they have to be living in complete denial or be living in some prehistoric age or have some kind of a detachment in the society we live in... Racism exists on every strata of our society and it is highly unfortunate how it plays a role when it comes to some of the most critical decisions that have to be made. The more I listen to this so called "juror" it is sad to know the level of functioning that she has in relation to the verdict. Here is a kid, Trayvon Martin who was shot to death just because he looked suspicious and was involved in some sort of altercation with Zimmerman. Trayvon Martin had every right to be at that place and at that particular time. No one has the right to follow, question, or even encounter a person just because an individual appears differently or is dressed in a certain manner from others. You do not have to possess some sort of incredible brain power, to come to a fair conclusion as to who was/is clearly the victim of an untimely tragedy. What surprises me is that Zimmerman did not show an ounce of sympathy or remorse for his cowardly actions. I am in no way an expert in Law but there are laws that do more harm than good. I honestly think sometimes the "law" benefits the person who committed the crime as opposed to working in favor of the victim....that is a very sad reality ! There are laws that need to be re-examined and re-evaluated so that a fair trial can exist and the outcome will be in favor of the victim. Having sophisticated debates about certain laws is good but lets get down to the basics. Common sense clearly shows who was/ is at fault in the Zimmerman trial and the verdict is PURE NONSENSE !
