If I was in charge, Id make Churches (all religious institutions that make money above the threshold for organisations) pay taxes. They/d get tax-deductions for charitable work, of course. That way, either wed get enough in taxes to fund welfare, or theyd do all the charitable works for us so we dont have to. Why are Religious Institutions tax-free, particularly Christian churches- when Jesus himself said Give to Caesar what is Caesars, and Give to God what is Gods. Money isnt Gods. I believe the tax-exempt status is un-Christian.
