If I was the ruler of Russia and world conquest driven, and I anticipated the EU and America weakening and becoming less and less of the power it once was 10..50....... years in the future (like most biological life forms these systems seem to becoming weaker and weaker as they grow older). The question would be, could I convince the people of Earth that my primary purpose is to keep the human race from becoming pathetic by making the EU and America, Russian? Or some how provoke an attack from the two that allows me to put my plans into action. Another question would be, would I choose to fight a war on two fronts? Main reason being, that my primary target would be the EU. Though, believing America would sit ideally by while I cut off gas to the EU then invade it would be unlikely. Therefore, Invade Alaska then move down BC into America while simultaneously invading the EU might not seem logical as far as conventional military stratagem are concerned, though at times the least likely of moves can be the most effective. My primary concern would be air superiority and preventing nuclear strikes while I conquer these territorys and making sure China and Latin America doesnt get nervous and attack me. While also crushing resistance fighters from within conquered territory (Russian Android Gestapo types). Keep in mind, this is all just theoretical. Though, it isnt a bad idea to think in terms of theoretical world wars, from time to time...... If of course you enjoy surviving them and like speaking your current language and not ending up in a futuristic Gulag or in my case perhaps worse.
