If I were the Devil: prediction from 1965 ... actually I were the devil Id - make it cool to be and remain ignorant - therefore, make sure schools, colleges and universities had to run as businesses, not educational centres - encourage all those ignorant people to cherry-pick one easily available religious book for all their social, legal and moral guidance - concentrate most of the money among the people who need it least - attack vaccination against serious diseases, and promote the use of quack medicines instead - spread conspiracy theories wherever possible - blame social ills and inequalities on people from across the border or alternatively, the people who are poorest and most ignorant and cant fight back ^ = = ^
