If Kobe can NOT come back full strength (ala Derrick Rose) and even teetering on retiring, will the NBA Office force a Blake Griffin deal to get the popular area (and nationally known) player to the Lakers? Face it, the Lakers are the crown jewel of the West Coast NBA. Ticket prices, tie ins, history, et al! No Kobe... no mediocrity for the Lakers, sees David Stern. Blake Griffin is a perfect fit for the Lakers NBA money printing machine. Dwight Howard to the Clippers may be the deal to do it. Silly deal. But the smokescreen needed. Is it all scripted like this?
