If Mao Tse Tung were alive in Tucson today, he would have mourned - TopicsExpress

If Mao Tse Tung were alive in Tucson today, he would have mourned the recent adoption of the Ceasar Chavez holiday. Why, you ask? As a fellow revolutionary he should have celebrated the reconciliation between classes. This is incorrect. Herein lies the problem. Changes in society require contradictions between classes. Now that the City has Gentrified Chavez there is no more class struggle. Chavez is now a member of the ruling class. The ruling class will never represent the workers, farmers, revolutionary intellectuals and other enlightened persons. Goodnight Ceasar.
