If Putin is allowed to get away with his land-grab in Crimea, many - TopicsExpress

If Putin is allowed to get away with his land-grab in Crimea, many (including me, as Ive written before) fear that he wont stop there. In this article, Lithuanian analyst Agnia Grigas suggests that he may have the same targets in view as I did, but she goes even further, including Belarus and Kazakhstan, both of which have large populations of ethnic Russians, in the field of view. (Interestingly, both of the latter countries, which usually provide pretty solid backing for Putins regime, have recently expressed support for Ukraine and disapproval of Putins actions in Crimea - which suggests to me that both of them are feeling rather uncomfortable about this new Russian Imperialism). opendemocracy.net/agnia-grigas/who%E2%80%99s-next-on-putin%E2%80%99s-list-Ukraine-Putin
