If Satan could manipulate and control reality the way that Jehovah God can and does, this would be quite a miserable world to live in. And while yes, the Bible does say that Satan is the (g)od of this world, he is not God in the sense that Jesus is God, in that he can manipulate the laws of reality (as we understand them presently). I like to think of it this way. In the beginning was an intelligent mind (whom we commonly refer to as God). This mind was not contained in a physical body, but was spiritual in nature. It would be incoherent to ask where this mind was located, because it was not anywhere, it just was. In fact, there was not even anywhere in existence at all, because a location would denote a physical place, and this mind (or consciousness, if you will) was the only entity that existed, period. Not only that, but this mind had complete and total knowledge, understanding and wisdom of all things. This mind was itself the totality of all that is called truth. It would also be incoherent to ask when this mind began to exist in time, because this mind is the beginning and the ending, but has no beginning or ending for itself. This mind is timeless and eternal in the purest sense of these words. This mind is not some abstract impersonal force like in star-wars. This mind is a personal conscious being, completely self aware with thoughts and choices; able to enjoy, feel and discern good and evil. Im not sure if youve ever had a lucid dream, but I think it is a good analogy to help you understand God. I have personally had lucid dreams before. A lucid dream is where you become aware that you are dreaming without actually waking up. Once you become aware, if you remain calm, you can take control of your dream and manipulate the natural physical laws you would normally have to obey had you been awake. In your dream your body does not exist in a physical place, but an abstract spiritual place that your mind is constructing from thoughts, information and emotions. This place could never be located in physical reality because it is not physical. Here are some examples of how I was able to manipulate natural laws. I could fly freely through the air, I could create physical objects with my thoughts, control where they appear and control how they behave. The strangest part was that I had no control over the other people in my dream, as if they were completely separate minds from myself. They did not believe me when I tried to explain this to them (that they were inside of my dream), but rather tried to convince me that I was not dreaming. Ive got to express to you that when you are having a lucid dream and the people in your dream try to convince you otherwise,... its really really creepy. So this is the point. This physical universe you see around you exists purely in the mind of God. It is a manifestation of Gods thoughts as rapid vibrations forming themselves into atoms and molecules which in turn make up physical matter. The Bible is absolutely correct when it says this. ~Hebrews 11:3~ Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear. All of reality lines up and arranges itself according to the words that God speaks. If God says Let there be light, the molecules align themselves accordingly to Gods commandments, since physical reality is contained within God and not the other way around, . Furthermore, God has breathed his very essence into these bodies creating living souls. We are said to be created in Gods image because we too are minds, self aware, with the ability to think, choose and feel. Although, we are limited to controlling our own bodies and mind (and some people havent even gotten the knack of that yet). So when the Bible says that Jesus is the Way, the Truth and the Life, it literally means just that. Jesus is the eternal mind that has always existed, he is life. There is no life outside of Jesus, so if you reject Jesus and his saving grace, you are rejecting life and choosing to cease from all existence for eternity. Jesus is the Way. He came as an example for us to follow. His word (The Holy Bible) was given so that we could be born again anew, turned from corruption to righteousness. And he is the truth. If you want to know how we came to exist, or what existence is to begin with, you need look no further than Jesus. He is the truth, he is the life and he is the way for you to choose if you want to go on into his kingdom after this, a perfect paradise with no pain, suffering or death. Satan controls you with the lie. It is his weapon of choice. With lies he will make your existence miserable, steer you away from God, and ultimately away from life. If you put faith in Satan by doubting God, it will lead you down a broad road to destruction. Satan controls the schools and what they can teach. He doesnt do this by creating laws, but rather by creating deceptive lies and using fear tactics and pride to control people and entire institutions like public schools, governments, and yes, even religions. If you look to your pastor, your teacher or your politician for what is right and what it true, you will be deceived by Satan unless you are measuring everything you see and hear in reality by Gods word, The King James Bible. Ultimately everything comes down to a choice. Fear God or fear Satan. Good or Evil. Life or Death. Satan controls you by controlling what you think and what you believe, and in turn you behave towards his conclusions. If you unquestionably accept lies like Evolution, Millions of Years, Eternal Conscious Torment, Salvation without giving up sin, and other such false teachings as these, you will respond accordingly as Satan has desired. You will reject the truth of the Bible, you will fail to see the big picture, you will never overcome the desires of your flesh, you will never fully love God with all your heart, body and soul. You will never obtain mastery of yourself, nor your understanding of all things. God has made you a real living soul. You are not a figment of his imagination. You truly do exist. But this world is an illusion, and it is not your home. What does it profit a man if he gains the whole world, but lose his soul. Without your soul, you do not exist. Your soul cannot exist without God, because God is the true reality. He is keeping track of everything you do, and he will judge all things with a pure and righteous judgement. ~Ecclesiastes 12:13-14~ ...Fear God, and keep his commandments: for this is the whole duty of man. For God shall bring every work into judgment, with every secret thing, whether it be good, or whether it be evil. God is willing to make you like Jesus. Transform you. Perfect, Obedient, Holy, Righteous, True, Just, Humble, Kind, Loving, Strong, Pure. These are just a few words I could use to attempt to describe him and none would do the job of helping you understand the most high, the Almighty God. The best way for you to understand, is to have a relationship with him, to get to know his character for yourself. He is alive and present. He can hear you if you call out to him, if you seek him early he can be found. If you keep his commandments he will manifest himself to you. If you ask him for wisdom he will give it to you liberally. However, if your god is your own belly; If you fall for the devices of Satan; If you buy into his lies and follow his philosophies then you will become just like him. Self righteous, proud, arrogant, foolish, lustful, rebellious, unhappy and miserable, longing for death. For all who hate Jesus love death. You are half way between life and death. If you are following after Satan you are moving closer to death, and you can feel its claws gripping you. If you have truly found Jesus, you are being restored unto life, and you can feels his truth freeing you. The choice is yours, and now is the day of salvation. Dont wait till the day has past. Yet a little while is the light with you. Walk while ye have the light, lest darkness come upon you: for he that walketh in darkness knoweth not whither he goeth. Its true. When you enter into that darkness, you will not even know where you have gone. Nor will you know anything else for all eternity. And worst of all, you will have no hope of ever returning to taste of lifes pleasantries. The comfort of company, the love of a mother, the thrill of excitement. You will never exist after that. You have this one chance to decide where you want to spend eternity. Everywhere or nowhere. Since this is such a monumentally important decision, you owe it to yourself to read the entire King James Bible, at least one time all the way through before you die. God wrote a book. If you are so indifferent to him that you cannot even read it, one time, before you make up your mind... well, what does that say about you? What if I wrote a book? Im willing to bet that my true friends would read it if I asked them to. ~2 Timothy 2:15~ Study to shew thyself approved unto God, a workman that needeth not to be ashamed, rightly dividing the word of truth.
