If a Nutron star was the Earth. Inorder to servive we may not have to build some advanced engine to escape from it. Rather! Why not make one that can use the gravity of the dead star to move a spacw ship to faster speed then anyone human has ever dared dream about being posible. Calculations on approch would have to account for ever variable possible inorder to keep from being distroyed but it will get you where you need to go faster. I was always tought as a child. Do not swim agaist the current. Just go with the current. Ofcouse any liveing thing would have to be in a protectibe chamber to protect against unimaginable radiation and ellectro magnetic effects. Theory.
