If a citizen of a foreign country enters the United States to attend college or university, they must obtain a visa. The course of study and the type of school you plan to attend determine whether you need an F-1 visa or an M-1 visa. I think it should be made clear by HCC if taxpayer money (or not) is providing the advisor services that HCC is advertising and it would be interesting to know how many HCC students have overstayed their F-1 visa--which would mean theyd be subject to deportation..
