If any of you have any friends who are business owners and would like to donate goods or services (or cash via sponsorship) to the Denim & Diamonds for Autism fund-raising event on 10/17, please let me know. Im looking for things that we ...can use for the Silent Auction, as well as actual sponsors who would get tickets to the event and the BAR! Holly Peete Robinson and her husband the NFL player are honorees this year, along with several other celebrities. This is a star-studded event, and its great publicity, PLUS it directly helps kids with autism! The organization sponsoring it is ACT Today! (Autism Care and Treatment), and they are the ones who gave Romario Snow (the autistic teen who was lost on LA streets for 20 days before his mom found him!) an iLoc watch with GPS tracking, and they are also going to be providing other services for him.
