If any one tells you growing your business is easy, they are lying. If anyone offers you a magic pill for a six figure business in a 4 hour workweek they are lying. If anyone says follow my easy plan and you can make lots of money money whilst you sleep they are lying. Building a successful six figure business takes time, not only do you have to do your day job of looking after your clients but you also have to invest in yourself, learn how to do certain aspects of your business that you dont understand, or have copious amounts of money to outsource every piece of extra work that needs doing. However, if you love what you do, and like your clients ( I have really yummy clients) then this hard work will be worth it. I have spent yet another night with all work and no play, but everyday is a tiny step nearer to world domination. My past year has been awesome, I have had so much support form family and friends old and new, remember when you are down, lean in to your friends, know that it will be worth it in the end... Matthew McConaughey said in his acceptance speech there are three things he needs - one is something to look up to, another is something to look forward to, and another is someone to chase. God is someone to look up to, family is someone to look forward to, and yourself is who to chase. MC said: And to my hero. Thats who I chase. Now when I was 15 years old, I had a very important person in my life come to me and say whos your hero? And I said, I dont know, I gotta think about that. Give me a couple of weeks. I come back two weeks later, this person comes up and says whos your hero? I said, I thought about it. You know who it is? Its me in 10 years. So I turned 25. Ten years later, that same person comes to me and says, So, are you a hero? And I was like, not even close. No, no, no. She said, Why? I said, Because my heros me at 35. So you see every day, every week, every month and every year of my life, my heros always 10 years away. Im never gonna be my hero. Im not gonna attain that. I know Im not, and thats just fine with me because that keeps me with somebody to keep on chasing. So, to any of us, whatever those things are, whatever it is we look up to, whatever it is we look forward to, and whoever it is were chasing, to that I say, Amen. To that I say, Alright, alright, alright. To that I say just keep living. Thank you. Keep on going my dear friends and clients, no one said it would be easy - but the ride sure is fun! AK. x x x
