KENNEL CLUB BRONZE TEST CANDIDATES Thursday 5th or Friday 6th or Saturday 7th or Sunday 8th March 2015 We are looking to find 20 individual dogs and their handlers who are newly enrolled members of a dog training club and are willing to participate for one day only. The handler and dog teams will be taking part in a live testing session at the show in the afternoon, following a warm up display in the morning. Any breed of dog is acceptable but handlers must be physically able to partake in 3 sessions throughout the day. The handler and dog team would need to meet the following criteria:- •A sound temperament with other dogs and people. •The handler must NOT have passed or partaken in a GCDS Bronze, Silver or Gold Award with any dog •The dog must NOT have passed or partaken in a GCDS Bronze Award. A Puppy Foundation pass is acceptable. •The dog must not be less than 12 months of age on the first day of the show •The handler or dog must NOT have previously participated at Crufts or Discover Dogs. •Handlers must NOT have been training for more than 6 months.(at time of application) •A sense of humour is vital! •Handlers must be aware that they may not gain their Bronze Award certificate on the day if the dog does not reach the required standard for each exercise. Each person selected to take part will receive a free pass for themselves and their dog, a car park pass (if required) and a complimentary pass for a person to accompany them. Closing Date for Bronze Applications – Friday 23rd January 2015 VOLUNTEERS VOLUNTEERS – CAR PARK PATROL – (ANY DAY) Is there anybody who would like to assist the Scheme in a part time working capacity and gain a free entrance ticket? We are looking for volunteers each day that would be willing to assist in staffing the show entrances between 6.30am and 10.00am, to give out poop scoop bags to show exhibitors. Anyone participating as a volunteer will be allocated a free entrance pass for themselves and a car park ticket.
