I am a Masters Clinical Psychology student from University of Johannesburg seeking participants for a study that explores the recovery experiences of women who have been in an abusive relationship. The study seeks to give women a voice, and to open up an understanding of what this recovery experience is like for women. You may be eligible for this study if you are a woman who is over the age of 18, and who was once involved in an abusive relationship yet is no longer in a relationship characterised by abuse. You should be able to converse easily in English and have a willingness to share your story. Participation involves a once off face to face interview of one to two hours in the location of your choosing. Anonymity and confidentiality are guaranteed.
