If asked, would you give the shoes off of your feet and go home barefoot if you knew someone was in need? Or would you offer something else instead? Money or a different pair of shoes at a later date? Would you give what was asked out of obedience and sacrifice or would you rationalize and justify why you couldnt in that moment? Out of His love for us God gave His very best. Out of your love for others (of which we are called to do) do we have a heart and mind to do the same? Do we only give when its comfortable? Was it comfortable for Christ to give us His only son? This holiday season lets consider how we can REALLY show our love for others like Christ loves us! Lets do a better job of living out in action what we say we believe.
