If elected as Wrexham`s MP in May, my 3 priorities would be: 1) Pressure government to cut income tax by £400 for those on low incomes - I believe in tax cuts for those on low incomes, but tax rises for those who are wealthy. 2) Work closely with local Assembly Member Aled Roberts to ensure that school pupils from less well-off backgrounds receive more funding - it is wrong that in 21st Century Britain, children from wealthier families on average tend to benefit more from our education system. This has got to stop. Every child deserves an equal start in life. 3) Again, work closely with local Assembly Member Aled Roberts to ensure that there are more nurses in our local hospitals. We need to reduce the workloads of our overworked nurses and improve the quality of care for our patients. That is why Safe Nurse Staffing Levels should be enshrined into law.
