If in doubt, blame Mourinho. Spanish press focus on Chelsea manager-- Jose Mourinho still pops up in the Spanish media. His success at Chelsea is covered through gritted teeth but hes also blamed for problems at Real Madrid, despite not being the manager there any more. Last week when Jesse was injured in the Champions League, Iker Casillas was criticised for his reaction. The Madrid captain didnt go to hospital, unlike some other players, to see Jesse but then sent out a photograph on Twitter of him and the youngster. It drew accusations of Casillas only being concerned about PR, and not really too bothered about the actual injury. That was then, in some quarters, blamed on Jose Mourinho for tarnishing the reputation of the goalkeeper. Roll on a few days and in AS today, Mourinho is blamed for the reactions of Cristiano Ronaldo and Sergio Ramos to the refereeing against Barcelona. The Spanish newspaper argue that the attitude instilled by Mourinho still remains and that, to some extent, it damages the good name of Real Madrid. Its claptrap, obviously. Real Madrid, just like Barcelona, complain hugely about referees when they dont get what they want. The outrage in Spain at controversial decisions is even more than it is in Britain, fuelled by daily partisan sport newspapers. Mourinho has moved on and found success with Chelsea, Real Madrid are doing well too. However, there are still some in the Spanish media who have a Mourinho hang up.
