If it is wrong to bring religious argument to forge the ownership of Palestine on Israel, then, it is wrong to tag the crisis in Gaza as a religious one. It is a political one, and it is correct for all humans -irrespective of their religious affiliation -to stand up for Gazans. Painting all issues as religious, mostly done by Muslims, with the mind that, this is the easiest way to whim up sympathy is grave error, mostly counterproductive. If we want to go religious, Palestine is more to Israelites than Palestinians. But if we go political, as an Ibadan man, I cannot go back to Iwo to claim the proprietorship, all because a record of my history told me my fore-fathers migrated from there.
