If it was all about keeping government open... Why couldnt they pass this ONE single bill without pork? Sure, McConnel got the BIGGEST chunk of pork... But it wasnt just one side that got some pork in the bill. Liberals wont want to talk about THAT side of it though. As far as theyre concerned, only the conservatives screwed us over this time. Yet, if democrats hadnt refused a one year delay for Obamacare, all vital portions of the govt would have been funded without a bit of pork.... I know this because I read the funding bills that Congress passed and sent to the Senate in which they shot down without hesitation. Both sides had a chance to shove some pork into a bill because the liberals straight up refused to delay Obamacare, period. And why refuse a one year delay? Unions got a one year delay. The Obamacare website is in need of 6 months of updating according to liberals themselves... So, the liberals refused to pass funding bills to keep vital portions of our govt funded, extended the shutdown, cost taxpayers $24 billion, shut down parks/monuments (which cost more to close than to keep open), had officers harass our vets and resorted to telling the American people that it was REPUBLICANS holding the nation hostage over what would have amounted to nothing more than a 6month delay of Obamacare considering it needs 6 months of updating to even function. Now, liberals... Explain to me how the republicans are the worst of the two parties again, please? Obama and his liberal administration held this nation hostage and even threatened default. And yes, he THREATENED to default. Why do I say that? Because the ONLY reason the US would default on its debts is if Obama CHOSE to do so. And over what? A ONE year delay for a system that at this time doesnt even work. People cant get enrolled. Liberals have TOLD us that it needs 6 months of updating to be ready to serve its purpose without major faults. Maybe they should have signed off on those funding bills and made the republicans out to be the bad guys for delaying Obamacare while in the shadows they worked to get the Obamacare website fixed and actually working. They could have come out good. But why did they rail against any delay for Obamacare? Because if the public had another year to evaluate Obamacare after the majority of the nation not wanting it to begin with, the liberals would take a BEATING this upcoming year and maybe lose Obamacare completely to the peoples demands for it to be done away with. And not to mention the heavy losses they would take in the 2014 elections. No, the liberals played politics at the American peoples expense and had the nerve to blame republicans for it. And for the most part, the liberal sheep supporters have lapped it right up without checking to see how bad it smells.
