If mental health systems want to better serve diverse youth populations, they must be adapted to be culturally responsive, youth-centered and strength-based. I believe by integrating popular youth culture like hip-hop with proven therapy models we can increase access to care for youth turned off by traditional therapy. ~ Tomás Alvarez III Innovative initiative by an Ashoka Social Entrepreneur on approaching mental health challenges using creative expression as a power form of sell-healing. Lot India can learn from such non-stigmatizing and overly medical approaches.
