If meteorology were a field where you could only know or learn so much, I would hate this career choice. However, you never stop learning in it and I love that. Especially when what you learn becomes a reality. For example, though my knowledge is still young on what an MCV is, I have seen two my whole life. My learning style, with meteorological phenomena, activity, and behavior seems to go like this. I learn how to identify something, then once I have been able to identify it, things go in reverse. I learn how to explain what causes it or where it originates from. This is how I learned about just basic thunderstorms as a kid. I learned about anvils as a key identifier. Then, as I got more into them, I learned about latent heat, moisture, shear, etc. Yes sir, my knowledge is growing with each day, but it will never stop. Thank god for the study of atmospheric sciences and processes, it is a never ending journey of learning and I love it. :)
