If one looks at the map of Oregon, particularly the coast, 90% is state owned for public use and enjoyment. State parks and state beaches dot the coastline almost continuously. The religious right HATES this thinking that the whole earth is under the auspices of the devil AND that this kind of behavior is PREVENTING the second coming of Christ. These people are called redemptionists. They are mentally ill and corrupted by indoctrination! George Bush was probably one of them or at least played the part to screw Americans! In any event it is an INSANE way of bible interpretation. Perhaps statistically few in numbers but the LETHAL potential of having these people in the public sector should be prevented at all costs. They would be happy to start World War III if they could BELIEVING Jesus would then return.
