If religion were true, its followers would not try to bludgeon - TopicsExpress

If religion were true, its followers would not try to bludgeon their young into an artificial conformity; but would merely insist on their unbending quest for truth, irrespective of artificial backgrounds or practical consequences. H.P. Lovecraft If your belief is true, and your faith as so strong. Wont your kids wind up where you are if you let them find out for themselves? Dont you owe it to your kids to let them find their way, to find their truth? Let us never forget, we could be wrong, and we damn our children when we force them to follow our beliefs if we are wrong.....if you are wrong and you go to hell, well that is your trip....but if you force your child to follow you and indoctrinate them into the false religion.....you have damned your child....shame on you.....but dont worry....there probably isnt a hell anyway.....would your loving god really make a place like that for the children he loves? really? If you wanna go by your bronze age book, it says Hell is for Satan and his angels, not us.....so dont worry ;) The most loving thing you can do for a child is to teach them critical thinking, not what to think.
