If the GOP understood the platform they stand on. they would get behind some grass roots convicted regular citizens to represent them. The voting public is so gun shy and skeptical that regurgitated candidates get zero traction other than from hard line party activists. what about the at large untapped conservative base? Those folks are not stupid. They smell rats from far off. The GOP could win at every level if they didnt love the control over free men.
