If the majority of the population (in the U.S. anyhow) is asleep, the way the ruling elite prefers, then how do we expect to overcome their tyranny if we dont wake up? Its easy to exploit those that are asleep, but those who have awakened see right through their bullshit. The minds of those that are asleep are ruled by ego. Theres an old saying: You compete with others, you become bitter. You compete with yourself, you become better. So long as the ruling elite keeps us competing with each other they can continue to rule us and exploit us. Well never be able to overcome the problems of the world started by ego if we ourselves are still rooted in ego. It is our collective consciousness, void of ego, that will win this battle.
