If the tuition increase passes at the Regents meeting on November 19th, in-state tuition alone will jump from the $12,192 to $15,564 for the 2019-2020 academic year. ALL UC Chancellors accepted a salary increase up to 20%. Chancellor Khosla received a 4.8% salary increase. His new income is estimated to be $430,728 based on the 2012 salary of $411,000. This salary increase occurs when UCOP claims we require $98 million to just operate the UC System. Numbers matter to UC President Napolitano. Sign the petition (ucsa.org/action-alerts/sign-our-petition/) to show UCOP and the Regents that students will not allow a tuition increase or be political pawns against the California Legislature.
