If there is an expert I definately would include Melinda in that list....BUT Melinda sees Hart Island from her eyes....and those who she has encountered that fit within her view of this Island....there is a much bigger picture than she is drawing...that is of the actual cost that NYC would be absorbing if the Island could not continue to bury 1000 bodies a month and recycle the earth every 25 years....once you open this cemetery to the public, there are security, safety and transportation costs that will be thrown over to Parks Dept. which as we know is always under budgeted. Are you finding the billions needed elsewhere through a conservancy?
