If there is one thing to say today,it would be this...Thank God and the ones you love for getting us threw another Holiday,safely.And I say this to all the recovering addicts,and my friends still in recovery.This time of year is one of the hardest,and can be one of the most difficult periods we face.As I came into work today,I was felling down in spirits.But just to look at the ones we assist,changed my whole outlook in just a few minutes.I say this as to myself,if I didnt struggle with my addiction and become who I am today,it would be impossible to show others that you can make it and over time improve the challenges of what that past has brought us.Just knowing you can bring a smile to someone less fortunate,or to help them in any sort of way,can bring peace of mind and serenity to even the most hardest addict.Even though I am sober today and clean,means that I have to continue to strife to make it possible in my life.Helping others and know and see it in yourself just like today,can bring more joy,happiness,and lift your spirits more than an substance you spend money on!! Money can never buy true friends,true family and most of PEACE WITH GOD and knowing YOU YOURSELF,and myself RAVEN is doing my best live life to the fullest and like GOD intended us to be toward each other!! Much love to everyone of you and tell the ones closest to you,just what they mean and the blessing of having them today......
