If there was any justice in the music world, this song would be really famous one day. Recorded at the Candlelite Live Music Club earlier this week, John Wrightsons Diary of a Northumberland Miner, sung by John. It deals with what was essentially the legalised serfdom of mid 19th C. coalminers and of how they were treated when they dared to try and fight the system; lyrics that still resonate today.
