If there was ever a perfect bottleneck drawn on paper for bow - TopicsExpress

If there was ever a perfect bottleneck drawn on paper for bow hunting whitetail deer, this is what it would look like. Its hard to tell from the photos because of all the foliage, but this is surely going to be one of our hunters favorite stands! To the back of the stand you have a slough and past that a large isolated alfalfa field. In front of the stand you will be setting over a strip of thick cover that parallels the river and offers 15 yards shots on anything that comes traveling down this bottleneck. Which will ultimately be lots and lots of whitetail deer! This Montana tree stand will have you shaking with excitement once you get set up and have a look around. Check out the next two pictures to get a taste of what it looks like. I know it looks thick, and it is, however its the only travel corridor of cover connecting two larger bedding and feeding areas. You have this shooting lane and another to the left of this photo that you can hit the game trail at about 15 yards out. Just on the other side of this opening (past the tree at the end of the clearing) is the river which parallels this funnel. You cant ask for a better bottleneck than this. And in Montana where we have tons of deer and plenty of Pope & Young bucks, this is going to be a dynamite early season and even better rut hunting stand. There is a large isolated alfalfa field in the background on this one picture located on the other side of the slough. If you look at the outside corner of those trees on the left jutting into the field, there is another stand in there. But this bottleneck that this stand overlooks is going to be awesome archery deer hunting here in Montana!
