If they would cut the items that can be purchased to staples only. Milk, bread, raw chicken or ground beef, flour or corn meal, cooking oil or butter, coffee or tea, sugar, fresh or caned fruit or vegetables, raw rice or pasta, dry bean or peas you would see A LOT OF THIS CRAP STOP. Also require drug test to get any assistance. No one would starve with this list of food. They just would not get what they want and would not be able to buy $4.00 apiece energy drinks, junk food, steak, lobster, shrimp, etc, on our hard earned dollar. There is enough money being spent on the EBT (food stamp) program to supply every person in this country who needs help with the list of staples above. If this plan was followed people would get what they needed when they need it but the ones gaming the system would all but go the way of the dinosaur.
