If voters want to reduce the federal deficit by gutting federal civilian and military pensions as well as Social Security, cutting Medicare and Medicaid, that is one way to proceed. I do not want them later to complain when their military retirement increments suffer, their Medicare coverage fails to cover what it once did, or they whine about new ways of calibrating our Social Security payments. I will complain. I did not vote for the current Republican Party. I am not a member of the Democratic Party and I rarely vote for them. They have probably harmed themselves for various and maybe many reasons. In Louisiana, we have elected a new senator who has a potential double income scandal that he has not yet explained. Maybe, he can explain his situation. In my congressional district, we elected representative who seems to lack both educational and any other preparation for office. He might turn out fine.
