If we are asking foreign countries to come and manufacture in India, are we not declaring, to the international audience, our incapacity to manufacture on our own ? Secondly, there is no simultaneous declaration of any programme or policy which tells us how are we going to increase our independent and indigenous capacity to manufacture. How can India become a world power on borrowed manufacturing skills and technology should bother one and all. Already, in a mundane sphere like cuisine all the foreign brands namely-McDonald, Sub-way, Pizza-Hut, Dominos Pizza, Kentucky Chicken, Lays Chip, Yo-china, Slice of Italy, etc to name just a few have overpowered Indian market. So is the case in the spheres of clothes and shoes. Are they all already not manufacturing in India ? if Yes then why this fresh invitation ? Last but not the least-if we are going to accept 20 billion aid from china how can we claim to be equal super power ?
