If you are a leader in a public position - whether that be political or religious, etc. - then you are charged with serving the people around you. You have volunteered to take less pay, more work and more difficult problems than the rest of us. Your benefits may be less, your stress may be more and your responsibility greater. If you have been hired, elected or have volunteered to be this person and expect higher pay, more benefits, less work and more respect then you have it all wrong and need to move on.
