If you are a member of Rural Water District#5 in Okmulgee County please read this post and share it. I would like to thank Patricia Hodge for being so kind and for the great job she has done. She has a kind heart and great business sense. Recently our water man has gone through his child having multiple heart surgeries and a struggle for his little life. During this time the Board President inniated more junk as usual against our water man, who by the way does an outstanding job for our district. President cut his salary during a time when this family needed us to stand with them. He couldnt do it alone, but our board agreed to it, except Mrs. Hodge. Our water man saved this district a tremendously huge blow by assuming this job when his dad died while working as our water man. Its a shame that this water district has had such horrible board members for far too long. They ran off Jeremy and Brad, both of which were excellent people with good minds and ability. If the meetings hadnt been moved to Monday nights I could be on the water board, and by the way it should have never been moved to first Monday when that is the night of the school board meeting. It creates too much conflict in our community. Please everyone rally and lets over throw the board we currently have, they certainly are not competent to run this district, there are so many current issues that need to be discussed in a meeting amongst all of our members.
