If you are a parent, and someone told you something about your child that you didnt know, would you get defensive and protective, or would you want to listen to what the person has to say? Ive been in too many situations where the parent has been defensive and dismissive and told me they are doing the best they can instead of wanting to talk to me as a caring support for their child. What is that about? And can we stop that please?
