If you are around tomorrow, stop by the Frelinghuysen Arboretum visitor center between 1:00pm to 3:00 pm. There will be an informal reception for the “Exit Zero” group art exhibition. The address for the Arboretum and other details of the show follow. “Exit Zero” is an exhibit of oil paintings by nine artists inspired by Cape May and surrounding natural areas. Participating are Sara Bass Aspe, Pat Flaherty, Katrin Helgadottir, Gail Driscoll, Ginger Johnson, Thaddea Kuchera, Stefanie Lalor, Karen Matte, and Gerry Heydt, who have met and worked together at Gerry Heydt’s annual Outdoor Landscape Painting Workshop in Cape May. Nocturnal harbor scenes, neighborhood streets, marsh and beach areas are among the subjects included.
