If you are as outraged by this incidence of police brutality against peaceful protesters as I was, I would urge you to make your feelings known the the West Midlands Police, who attended Warwick University. To: [email protected] Hello, I write to lodge my concerns about an incident at Warwick University on 4th December, 2014, where there was a demonstration by students at the Senate Building. I was shocked to see the disgraceful behaviour by some of your police officers in dealing with what appeared to be a peaceful demonstration at Warwick University. Judging by the footage that appears on YouTube, I couldnt see any justification whatsoever in the use CS gas against the demonstrators, who were clearly not being aggressive. It was clear to me that all the aggression was coming from the police who were called to attend the University campus. I hope that you can understand that this sort of behaviour will only serve to foment resentment towards the police, something I am sure you would wish to avoid in the future. Simon Oakden
