If you are called to be a prophet, be a prophet and be the best you can be. Don’t go dreaming another man’s dreams. It is so sad to see so many prophets wanting to be pastors and pastors wanting to be apostles and so on. We can be so insecure at times that we don’t even know how to rest in our calling. I am secure as a prophet, and I have learnt that as soon as I try and step into a position, or anointing, or a commission that God has not called me into, there comes a limitation of grace and things go wrong. I can feel it in our ministry as God’s favor goes and so does His provision. Let me elaborate: When I was pasturing, I was the unhappiest man on the planet and it was a total nightmare. I just didn’t have the grace to sit with people for hours on hand, impatiently I wanted them to hear God’s word and apply it straight away. I learnt some valuable lessons concerning people during that time and understood the heart of the Shepherd towards the sheep, sheep eat slowly so this training was needed conclusion Prophets that don’t smell like sheep are hirelings its part of our training to be faithful servants in a Local church until He decides we know smell like sheep.
