If you are competing in the Immortals Challenge this week, here are my top 5 tips: 1. Stay well hydrated. Include sports drinks to replace electrolytes. 2. Consume easily digestible foods between WODs- (some athletes have been known to even consume baby food :) 3. Include protein and carbohydrates with pre-event meal (consumed at least 2-4 hours beforehand) 4. Refuel between competitions days. Aim for at least 1g carbohydrate per kilogram with recovery meal with 10-20g of protein. 5. Obtain adequate rest. Good luck to all the competitors!
