If you are concerned about cycling in the White Clouds>>> Mountain Bikers: Now is the Time to Show Your Support for the Boulder-White Clouds National Momument! President Obama will speak in Boise this Wednesday, January 21, making it a prime opportunity for us to rally in support of the Boulder-White Clouds National Monument. It is also a significant moment for Idaho, since the President has yet to visit this great state. The Obama Administration has made one thing very clear: the only way the Boulder-White Clouds will be declared a National Monument is if we demonstrate a large degree of support from right here in Idaho. On Wednesday, well have the chance to show exactly that. Please join us by rallying in support of the Boulder-White Clouds! A National Monument declaration in the Boulder-White Clouds means maintained access for your favorite mountain biking trails as well as preservation of this amazing piece of land within the Sawtooth Mountain Range. The appeal for mountain bikers to support this National Monument comes from years of opposing CIEDRA, a Wilderness Bill that would ultimately limit access to some of the best mountain biking experiences Idaho has to offer.
