If you are one of the many people who are launching themselves into their New Years resolutions to lose weight, eat better, exercise more and be healthier take a squiz at this before you go any further! A group of dietitians, nutritionists and doctors have ranked the worst and best diets for 2015. The 35 diets were rated in seven categories, including short- and long-term weight loss, ease of compliance, safety and nutrition. They also assessed their appropriateness and safety for heart health and diabetes. So which diets failed miserably and which ones came out on top? The worst diet, losing out majorly in all categories was The Fast Diet (some may know it as the 2:5 diet), followed by Atkins, Raw Food, Dukan and Paleo. The ones to take note of are the DASH (Dietary Approaches to Stop Hypertension) Diet, which snagged poll position, with The TLC Diet, The Mayo Clinic Diet, The Mediterranean Diet and Weight Watchers not far behind.
