If you are renting or planning to rent your property in South Euclid, you will need to pay your property taxes. Last night, by unanimous vote, City Council passed Ordinance 15-14, which modified the citys rental ordinance to prohibit the issuance of rental occupancy permits on properties with a delinquent property tax balance. Taxes will need to be brought current either by payment in full or by entering into a payment plan with the County. South Euclid is the first city to take this important step to ensure the protection of tenants and preservation of our tax base.
