If you are told that it is immoral and a sin before God as a lady to make a beautiful hairstyle or relax your hair, to put on a beautiful dress and shoe and use a body spray or perfume to smell nice, then you need to start asking questions where in the Bible it was stated that doing all those is a sin. Some say that plaiting your hair with attachments is demonic. They also say that using a weavon is a declaration for marine spirit. They say attached polished nails means you say God did not create your nails well. They intentionally fail to accept that such logic would necessarily include you not shaving the hairs in your armpit or your pubic hair given that you mean God should not have given you hairs in the first place. At 17-23 years, you are told it is a sin to know what love is and a greater sin to be in a relationship. You never asked them what inspired such but you accept it was divinely inspired. You are told never to hang out with a member of the opposite gender either by physical presence or via phone conversation until marriage sanctioned by the Church but you do not ask how on earth you both can get to know each other as regards compactibility. Where is the romance? Or is romance a sin too? You are told that when you get to 23 years you can start knowing what love is but you must never be around a man as regards that. Your only conviction of love is through dream or vision from God showing you a certain brother who is the husband sent from above and such brother preferably your Church member must have the same dream to substantiate the relationship before the Church council. You never sit to ask yourself what will happen if by 23 years of age such brother leads you on for two years and later says that his dream was a malaria symptom. At 25 years you begin to wait for another brother to share your revelation and hopefully by 26 years you get a new brother. Such brother sees other girls dressing smart and beautifully but sees you as one dirty lady thanks to the set of clothes you put on. He leaves you and now you are 27-28 years without a boyfriend much less a fiance. Now you begin to pray and constantly go for deliverance services in your Church thinking the devil has ensnared you. Nobody ensnared you but yourself. Funny enough, the brothers in your Church goes outside to marry ladies from Other Churches and you never took time off to reflect upon this. You think those brothers are stupid? You are told not to listen to any romantic songs or read books with romance contents yet you wish to have a romantic relationship? All you know is Gospel music. In fact, your Church dont make use of musical instruments in praising God. What kind of Gospel songs do you sing? Where is the worship if everything is so stale and drab in the presence of God. What happened to Psalm 98 where we are told to sing unto the Lord with the harp and the voice of a psalm, with trumpets and sound of cornet? What do you think Psalms is all about? Do you think Psalms is merely hymn sung without musical instrument as though you mourn? Where is the joyful noise? Where is the joy in Gods presence? This is not to say Gods presence is all about music. Christianity is beautiful but many Pastors and Churches in the quest to look unique in their ways and self-righteousness makes everything complicated. They tell you to stick with the Church at all cost. Even if they are totally wrong you think it is a sin to speak or act against their wrongs or seeking God where he truly can be found in simplicity and sincerity. They have made you a conformist. If Jesus Christ was a Conformist, there would be no Christianity. He spoke and acted in defiance of the customs of his people and religion. The Apostles were not Conformists they were Revolutionaries. John Wycliffe, John Hus, Martin Luther, John Calvin and many more would not have helped ushered us to Christianity and the light of the Bible if they conformed to what the Roman Catholic Church had as traditions and customs painted as divine. Be real. Be a Non-Conformist to Apostacy. Well, its your choice. I have made mine.
