If you are trying to build a better butt: 1) Avoid sitting for long periods of time 2) Avoid steady state cardio- no awesome butt was ever created on the elliptical or in a zumba class (sprinting yes, endurance running no) 3) Train your glutes twice a week- the glutes are dense muscles which need lots of volume, variety and weight to challenge them 4) "Think" about the muscle you are working- The "mind to muscle" connection is actually very important (if your glutes are not yet firing properly try activating them by clenching the muscle before you begin the exercise)
