If you ask me about my relationship with Jesus Christ, at my front door of my gated community, Im going to leave you dumbfounded when I say these three things: 1. People who do not, at least, study Judaism are paying themselves a huge disservice in developing a personal relationship with Jesus; 2. I find religion to be more of a separation than a combining of souls; (Refer back to number 1); 3. In studying Judaism, it only leads to more questions about the intention of the bible itself than it lends answers. However - I do have a PERSONAL relationship with Jesus. Its honest and loving and complicated and diverse. We do not always agree, more me disagreeing with him (the spoilt child I am). I have yelled while he listened. I have cried while he embraced. I have ignored him. He has also been silent with me at times. Its real. Thank you for breaking the rules of our neighborhood, interrupting my meditation, and reminding me how much I love him. Back to your regularly scheduled program.
