If you believe that follow Christ will cost you nothing then you need to re-examine your faith. It cost Mary hear reputation to be His mother. It cost Peter, James, and John a fishing business. It cost Matthew a lucrative job as a tax collector. It cost the rich young ruler all he had but he counted it a too costly. It cost Saul (Paul) a place of prestige within the Jewish council (He was a Pharisee). It also cost him wounds, imprisonment, and eventually his life. It is cost Pastor Saeed Abedini eight years in an Iranian prison. It recently (within the last 2 years) cost a young man in Yemen his life. Are you willing to lose all you hold dear to gain all He has for you? Jesus, help me to "count all things as dung that I may win Christ"
